1968

Prof. Fitzpatrick observed that Cysteamine is significantly more effective against hyperpigmentation disorders. Its instability prohibited its formulation as a topical product.

1996

The World Health Organization published a report on Hydroquinone Health and Safety that raised questions about the safety profile of hydroquinone.

2012

Development of a new technology enabling topical use of cysteamine significantly increasing its stability.

2019

Launch of the original Cyspera® Intensive Pigment Corrector.

2022

Worldwide launch of Cyspera Intensive System™ with Cysteamine Isobionic-Amide Complex™. The product receives multiple awards including Allure Breakthrough Best of Beauty Award 2022.
